Copy Paste — Effective July 4, 2026
Your clipboard is some of the most sensitive data on your device. Copy Paste is built so that it never leaves your control: everything stays on your device or in your personal iCloud — we run no servers and collect nothing.
None. Copy Paste does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers. We do not operate any servers.
Your clipboard history — text, links, images, and files you copy — is stored locally on your device, encrypted at rest by the operating system.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your clips are stored in your private iCloud database, managed by Apple and tied to your Apple ID. Only your signed-in devices can access it. We have no access to this data and no ability to read it.
The optional iOS keyboard extension requests "Full Access" solely to read your own clip history from the app's shared on-device storage so it can display your clips. It does not log keystrokes and does not transmit anything off your device.
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details. Purchase entitlements are verified on-device through the App Store.
On iPhone and iPad, the clip database is encrypted at rest with iOS file protection. On Mac, data is protected by FileVault when enabled. iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
Copy Paste does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
